About TQUK
We don’t believe in looking back, so we’re not going to tell you where we’ve been and what we’ve done. Instead, we’re going to tell you where we’re going and what we want to achieve.
Our goal is to be the best in Technical Education. Not good. Not great. The best. Number 1. We’re here to lead the industry, revolutionise the way centres and providers work and transform the lives of learners. And we can only do that if we’re striving every day to be the very best.
In fact, we're so dedicated to being the best that we've made it our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) and set ourselves five strategic objectives to help achieve it. Drumroll, please…

Influence educational reforms
We're education experts with the experience and insight to improve the industry. So when we think something needs to change, we take a proactive approach and make our voices heard so our centres and learners can benefit from new and better ways of thinking.
Drive continuous growth
We started with single-digit staff in a two-up, two-down in Cadishead and have grown to a team of more than 125 (plus hundreds of associates) in an expansive office in Sale. But we never rest on our laurels. We want to keep growing, keep challenging ourselves, keep pushing the envelope, because by striving to be our best we're helping everyone we work with be their best.
Provide world-class service
We deliver the very best to our customers and that means more than troubleshooting. We're strategic advisors, passionate proponents, and the all-round biggest fans of everyone we work with. We know our centres inside and out and are ready and raring to go with bespoke support and tailored advice at the drop of a hat.
Establish our ESG standards
We've always got one eye on a sustainable future, which is why we operate with the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) in mind. The TBL means we put as much focus on our people and the environment as we do our profits so we can help preserve our planet and create a truly positive global community for generations to come.
Create a culture of opportunity
We know that an organisation is only as good as the people within it. That's why we invest in every single person who passes through our doors, giving them the best opportunity to thrive, develop their skills, and become their best selves. In return, we get dedicated, hard-working experts who are fully committed to their team and the company’s success.
A vision shaped by our non-negotiables
None of this would be possible without our three non-negotiables. They make us who we are, guiding our actions, decisions, and relationships so we can help learners transform their dreams into reality.
Put team first
We believe in the power of collaboration and recognise that collective efforts lead to greater success. We foster an inclusive and supportive environment where teamwork, mutual respect and cooperation thrive. By valuing each team member's diverse perspectives and contributions, we achieve outstanding results together.
Willingness to learn
We understand that learning is a lifelong journey and encourage a growth mindset among our staff and stakeholders. We actively seek out new knowledge, insights, and innovative approaches to continually improve our services and stay at the forefront of the industry. By nurturing a culture of continuous learning, we empower our team members to reach their full potential.
Be courteous
We believe in treating others with respect, empathy and professionalism. Whether it's communicating with our customers, partners, or colleagues, we strive to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. We listen attentively, respond promptly, and address concerns with empathy and understanding. By fostering a culture of courtesy, we build strong relationships based on trust and collaboration.

A decade of excellence
From our beginnings in 2013, we’ve worked tirelessly to deliver a brighter approach to qualifications and assessment.
“From our humble beginnings to our current standing as a respected and influential AO and EPAO, our path has been marked by desire, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As we look back at our journey, we’re immensely proud of the milestones we’ve achieved, the partnerships we’ve forged, and the lives we’ve positively impacted. Yet, we recognise that our journey is far from over. In fact, it’s just warming up and we're just getting started. Our commitment to innovation, responsiveness to market dynamics, and passion for learning will continue to propel us forward as we strive to shape the future of vocational and technical education.
Join us as we embark on the next chapter of our journey, filled with new challenges and, more excitingly, opportunities. Together, we will continue to strive for world domination, to set the standards, inspire excellence, and make a meaningful positive impact with our valued customers and learners.”
